I am a committed PhD candidate with a passion for research and teaching in the field of computational intelligence. My interests include stochastic processes on latent data representations. I focus on bringing together the worlds of stochastic models and machine learning, also taking care of the human understandability of the models (eXplainable AI), possible simplicity, and applicability in real-world tasks (especially recommender systems).
